 Choosing the Right General Contractor
Choosing the right builder, or general contractor is an important process. The company or person that you choose will have a lot of responsibility for your custom modular project, and will be assisting you throughout the building process.
Your general contractor will help you with:
- Choosing a location
- Designing, layout, and specifications
- Arranging financing
- On site preparation and finishing
- Hiring subcontractors
Contractors who work with Contempri Homes must be approved and registered with us. In order to be approved, a general contractor must complete the application process, and then meet with the following standards:
- Good standing with the state they are licensed in
- All corporate documentation on file with their state
- Good credit standing
- Good rating with such organizations as the Better Business Bureau

Get Estimates
Before you decide, be sure to spend time talking to each general contractor who will bid on your project. Ask to look at photos of recent work, and don't be afraid to ask for references of current buyers that you might contact.
Be sure to check whether they will be able to schedule your project in a reasonable time frame for you, as they may already have other projects scheduled that could conflict with your timeline.
Make Your Decision
Once you've selected your a builder to work with, be sure your contract clearly outlines what the general contractor will do and not do for your project. It could also be helpful to have an attorney check over the contract first to help identify any potential conflicts.

Our construction process allows for easier identification and filling of gaps around pipes, windows, electrical outlets and doors to make sure your home will be tightly sealed and energy efficient.
